As Havi’s Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Havi’s compensation programs throughout the entire enterprise. Your primary goal is to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company’s overall business strategy. You will collaborate with HR, finance, and leadership teams to develop and maintain a compensation structure that supports organizational goals, attracts top talent, and retains high-performing employees.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to drive competitive and equitable compensation practices, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and market trends. You will collaborate with HR, Finance and senior leadership to shape compensation policies, manage salary structures, and develop innovative incentive programs that foster a high-performance culture. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

Compensation Strategy and Design: 

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that support the company's business objectives and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. 
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices. 
  • Design and administer base salary structures, bonus plans, and other incentive programs. 

Compensation Analysis and Administration: 

  • Perform regular compensation analyses to ensure alignment with market trends and organizational goals. 
  • Evaluate job descriptions and make recommendations for salary ranges based on job evaluations and market data. 
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, promotions, and equity grants. 

Compliance and Reporting: 

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations. 
  • Prepare and analyze compensation reports, metrics, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Conduct audits and ensure accurate documentation of compensation-related processes and practices. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Partner with HR business partners and managers to address compensation-related inquiries and provide guidance on compensation decisions. 
  • Develop and deliver compensation-related training for HR teams and managers. 
  • Communicate compensation policies and programs clearly and effectively to employees. 

Project Management: 

  • Lead or participate in special projects related to compensation, including mergers and acquisitions, compensation restructuring, or system implementations. 
  • Lead the annual compensation administration process.  

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging compensation strategies. 
  • Recommend and implement improvements to compensation programs and processes based on feedback and market changes. 

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP) preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation management or related HR roles, with a proven track record in compensation design and administration. 
  • Strong knowledge of compensation laws, regulations, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in compensation management software and tools (e.g., compensation analysis, benchmarking tools). 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
