As a Global IT Auditor, you will leverage your foundational Information Technology and Cybersecurity while partnering with different leaders in the organization to evaluate the organization’s IT controls and provide founded recommendations. You should have an analytical mind and expertise in IT systems, applications, and infrastructure along with outstanding problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a great understanding of cybersecurity trends. Top candidates will also display an excellent understanding of Firewalls, VPN, IT infrastructure, IT general controls, Data Loss Prevention, and Information Security Audits, as well as an interest and aptitude for core audit activities. This is a high impact role and therefore, experience working with higher management and an ability to influence leaders is a must.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION
- Develop an IT audit plan, examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies.
- Interface as key business partner to IT and ELT during network or security incidents.
- Viewed as a trusted advisor to IT with the ability to influence functional needs
- Audit IT security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
- Participate in the change management process.
- Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities and create counteractive strategies to protect the network.
- Conduct efficient and effective IT audit procedures.
- Communicate and report complex technical issues (verbal and written reporting) to relevant leadership.
- Perform regular audit testing and provide recommendations.
- Review, evaluate, and test application controls.
- Provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
- Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
Minimum Requirements:
- A degree or certificate in information technology/computer information systems or related.
- 3+ years of IT Audit experience including ITGC testing, control/process evaluation, and system design.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar qualifications.
- Hands-on experience in implementing or auditing against Information Security standards like ISO, NIST, ISF.
- Interest and familiarity with Core Audit activities.
Additional Considerations:
- Proficiency with data visualization products (Microsoft PowerBI, Quickview, etc.)
- Strong understanding of security design and IT Governance.
- Experience with firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.
- Financial and IT application experience (SAP, JDE, NetSuite, Oracle, and Hyperion).
- Expertise in Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.
- Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
