WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

Are you big into mobile gaming? Obsessed with music? Love finding the next big artist or hottest upcoming concert? Are you a die-hard sports fanatic, a movie junkie or weekend-show-binging-die-hard? And do you love taking on new challenges, defying convention and coming up with big ideas that have never been done before?

Then you’ve landed at the right place.

Today, we’re looking at growing and strengthening our creative roster with a conceptual Art Director to help deliver wow-worthy ideas and experiences for one of the largest tech brands. As Art Director, you’ll play a crucial role within our creative team — delivering creative ideas that aren’t only clever but are also visually stunning.

We’re looking for a passionate, creative problem solver and visual artist.  To us, the Art Director should have a knack for understanding consumer behaviors, cultural trends, and technology (people use every day) and how to best reach them where they are.

When briefed, the Art Director should have a partner mentality, working and collaborating closely with a Copywriter or Designer in delivering compelling creative solutions.

We’re looking for a “What-if” thinker. The Art Director shouldn’t be held back by convention or norm but can push and think beyond the expected. The Art Director should be eager to win awards as well as industry recognition for our team.

And lastly, we’re looking for an Art Director with a proven ability to confidently share and articulate their ideas and designs to the team while providing insights and human truths to back them up.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

  • Interpret and interrogate briefs to create work that wow’s and is strategically driven, thought-provoking and compelling - not just "cool.”
  • Develop and maintain a passionate understanding and working knowledge of the client's business, brand, consumer, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create powerful and compelling concepts that align with the overall strategic direction and brand parameters.
  • Ability to apply learnings and solve problems creatively.
  • Ability to meet timelines and expectations, while ensuring the work is exceptional.
  • Follows direction from senior creatives and provides strong rationale behind their work.
  • Executing and managing multiple jobs and daily tasks, while independently gathering project information and seeking out solutions.
  • Owns crafting incredible looking creative decks and materials for client presentations.
  • Communicates openly, honestly, and respectfully to everyone.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • 2-4 years as an Art Director in an agency or brand space.
  • Background in large scale brand activations, promotions, marketing campaigns, social and loyalty programs
  • Strong conceptual abilities — able to quickly generate thought-provoking ideas and the ability to put them down visually.
  • Great collaboration and team skills
  • Killer portfolio with examples of projects that back up your creative thinking.
  • Exceptional design skills (ability to generate multiple design iterations, mood boards and visual treatments to help sell the look and feel of an idea)
  • Knowledge and experience in creating a variety of creative executions (from social content to, promotional experiences, PR events, video and experiential takeovers)
  • Program proficiencies: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
