Job Summary:

• To support the Compliance team function on influencing the supply base to deliver impactful results in social responsibility

Job Relationships

• Internal: Compliance Management team, Supply Chain operations, sourcing and strategies, Toy BU, QA.

• External: Supply base, NGO, IETP, audit firms.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of supplier code of conduct (COC) management system.

• Support in designing, implementing and managing audit tools and assessment mechanism according to business needs.

• Lead on-site inspections to audit suppliers, identify the root causes of non-compliance and provide technical advice to develop solutions.

• Review audit reports & corrective action plans, provide guidance to suppliers to formulate the effective corrective and preventive action plans.

• Monitor the implementation of the suppliers’ improvement plans and lead the team to verify the effectiveness of the improvement actions.

• Develop and conducting trainings related to social compliance topics.

• Oversee the onboarding of new suppliers with respect to relevant requirements.

• Manage the grievance channel between factories’ employees, investigate and follow up suggestion or complaints.

• Support the management of internal vendor management program to drive continuous improvement.

• Collaboration and coordination with certifcation bodies and third party service providers to implement supplier COC program.

• Participate in other initiatives and programs as directed.

• Benchmark and review industry best practices.

• Frequent travel to China and occasional travel to overseas countries.

 

Qualifications/Experience

• University graduate with minimum 6 years work experience running social responsibility management program.

• Good knowledge of social responsibility and international labor standards.

• Strong business ethics and high level of integrity.

• Able to systematically identify and resolve complex problems with an analytical data driven approach and creative thinking.

• Ability to work successfully in a business environment, balancing decisions and recommendations based on total business perspective.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills to drive actions and strategies.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to drive process improvement and efficiency throughout complex organizations

• Strong communication and presentation skills with high proficiency in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
