tms is seeking CMF and Product Developer to support the Director of Product Development in creating new and expanding existing product lines as well as overseeing the day to day execution product development activities. As CMF and Product Developer you will collaborate with a dynamic, cross-functional team to bring high-quality products and finishes to market, driving global growth for our business channels.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

  • Support our Product Development Director in identifying new ceramic/glass CMF and accessory/charm item opportunities based on consumer & business needs and market gaps, identifying creative product solutions, and collaborating with a cross-functional development team.
  • Responsible for managing and tracking all simple and derivative new projects from kick off to production start authorization, ensuring all projects deliver on the needs of the brief on time for the planned program.
  • Support to build new seasonal Ceramic and glass CMF innovation deck and manage and track the CMF projects to completion.
  • Collaborate with Program team to identify new accessory, charm, soft goods opportunity and work with QA and MS team to source and execute the development for successful program launch.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including industrial design, design engineering, graphics, quality, CMF, account management, supply chain, and project management teams.
  • Assist Product Development Director with data collection, competitive product analysis, retail store audits and pricing analysis for program builds.
  • Partner with Project Management to ensure internal NPD and CMF timelines are aligned with planned seasonal program launches.
  • Maintain internal new product & ceramic/glass CMF library document, Silicone tracker, CMF tracker ensuring that they are accurate, up to date, and complete.
  • Build, support, and manage project administration related to product programs, including new product and new CMF development, new item creation in systems, and program communication tools.
  • Adhere to departmental process and procedures for thorough and accurate product reviews including prototype reviews, manufacturing, and CMF sample reviews in Seattle office.
  • Ensure all internal product reviews at all phases are completed in a thorough and timely manner in person in our Seattle office.
  • Maintain the organization and archival storage of all CMF and new product development prototypes and manufacturing samples on site in our Seattle office.
  • Other duties as required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in consumer goods industry contributing to hard goods product development or new finish development preferred.
  • Previous experience working for or with global brands with frequent communication / collaboration with overseas global teams desired.
  • Highly proficient with Smartsheet, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Product Lifecycle Management tools highly desired.
  • Required to work in Seattle office in person 2-3 days per week.

 

Salary:  $83,000 - $105,000

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. tms is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary.  At tms, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.  In addition, we offer a variety of employee benefits, personalized time off, holiday pay, dental, vision, 401(k), and much more.
